Linda Lewis
Baynoddy Knitwear, Spinning & Weaving is on the Fahey Farm established in 1789 and owned by Linda & Bernard Lewis. Linda is a fibre craftsperson and Bernard is the 6th generation on the family farm. On the farm , we have sheep, llamas & angora goats to provide the fibre for Linda to work with. The Fahey Farm has been awarded "Century Farm" designation in 2006. Linda is a member of the Craft Council of Newfoundland & Labrador and has received numerous awards for her work including an "Award for Excellence in Craft for the Preservation of Traditional Craft Skills". Linda & Bernard work the farm together with some younger family members including cutting hay & shearing the animals. We sell knitwear, handspun & woven goods made from our own animals.
