The Gallery allows students to experience the excitement, pride, and critical views which result from showing their work to the public in a professional space. The Gallery has hosted student exhibitions, provides opportunities for group tours, initiates artist-in-the schools projects, and offers youth workshops and other programming related to current exhibitions.
Projects/exhibits which show a commitment to education and youth include:
- Speaking Out of Turn: Young Upstarts on the Make (2007): a newly formed Craft Council Youth Committee presented this exhibit of young Newfoundland talent as part of a month "Craftember" celebrating youth works.
