a group exhibition of contemporary craft that reflects the 400th anniversary of Cupids in dynamic and diverse ways.
Founded in 1610, Cupids is recognized as the oldest English colony in Canada. Here John Guy and his crew sowed the seeds of British settlement, laying the foundation of much of the language, culture and heritage of Newfoundland today. Contemporary craftspeople celebrate this rich history and 400 years of community-building with reverence, insight and humour.
