Located in the Devon House Craft Centre, the Craft Council's Clay Studio overlooks St. John's Harbour. The Studio provides
a well-equipped facility where professional craftspeople can expand their skills and the general public can become more closely
acquainted with the skills and tools of the potter.
The Clay Studio is a teaching facility that offers a variety of learning experiences for students at all levels. Educational
programming includes:

After school classes and Easter and summer camps for kids

Recreational classes for adults at all skill levels

Professional development workshops in topics ranging from glaze chemistry to raku firing
The Clay Studio sponsors an `Artist in Residence' Program and provides access to materials, equipment and facilities for practising artists and craftspeople. Workshops with visiting ceramists are part of the Studio's annual schedule.
